Review summary

What reviewers found

VerdictStrong3 reviews · high confidence

A highly capable, comparatively good-value robot vacuum and mop whose strongest attributes are hard-floor mopping, navigation, object avoidance, app control and a comprehensive self-servicing dock. It is best viewed as an excellent frequent-maintenance cleaner, not a full replacement for manual vacuuming: difficult fine or large debris, stubborn stains, inaccessible areas and some thresholds can still defeat it. Its large station and occasional navigation misclassification require accommodation.

What stands out

  • Hard-floor mopping

Rotating, downward-pressing pads clean substantially better than simple dragged cloths. Tests removed dried squash, mud, sugary drink and hot sauce effectively without puddles or streaks, though ketchup was a notable exception.

high confidence · Tech Advisor, TechRadar, Expert Reviews
  • Navigation, mapping and obstacle avoidance

The robot maps quickly, navigates rooms reliably and avoided cables, socks and simulated pet waste in structured tests. It generally approaches furniture safely and can report photographed obstacles.

high confidence · Tech Advisor, TechRadar, Expert Reviews

What to watch

  • Large, visually imposing station

The dock consumes substantial floor and vertical-access space and was repeatedly considered unattractive or difficult to blend into living areas.

high confidence · Tech Advisor, TechRadar
  • Difficult debris and spills

Fine flour pickup was well below average in Expert Reviews' controlled test, while TechRadar found low settings left crumb mix and the side brush scattered oats toward inaccessible edges. Maximum or deep, repeated cleaning is often needed.

high confidence · TechRadar, Expert Reviews

Best for

  • Frequent whole-home maintenance cleaning · Homes dominated by hard floors

Avoid if

  • Cleaning specific heavy spills or replacing a manual vacuum · Small homes with limited dock space
More review detail

Conflicts and context

  • Threshold climbing

Two tests found it capable of crossing roughly 2cm or ordinary raised thresholds, but TechRadar encountered inconsistent repeat failures on a particular circa-2cm transition. Homes with uneven floors may need adjustments or route planning.

high confidence · Tech Advisor, TechRadar, Expert Reviews
  • Object recognition accuracy

Avoidance itself is strong, but classification is imperfect: a plant pot, sock and hearth were mislabeled, and the excessive clearance around one false obstacle left carpet uncleaned.

high confidence · TechRadar, Expert Reviews
  • Mopping stubborn stains

TechRadar's dried sugary drink and hot sauce disappeared in one mission, while Expert Reviews needed eight attempts to remove dried ketchup. Performance depends materially on the contaminant.

high confidence · TechRadar, Expert Reviews
  • Noise

Vacuuming is generally unobtrusive outside maximum modes, but dock emptying is briefly very loud and prolonged mop drying can produce an audible fan hum.

high confidence · Tech Advisor, TechRadar, Expert Reviews
  • Map presentation

Mapping was usually quick and useful, but Expert Reviews found the app's simplified geometry omitted fixed features and made precise zone targeting harder.

moderate confidence · TechRadar, Expert Reviews
  • Camera and privacy tradeoff

Obstacle photography is useful but optional; one reviewer raised a general concern about Eufy's customer-data collection and advised privacy-conscious users to consider leaving it disabled.

    moderate confidence · Tech Advisor

Still unknown

  • Long-term reliability of the robot, dock pumps and mop mechanisms
  • Real replacement frequency and ongoing consumable cost under varied household conditions
  • Performance on dark flooring, very deep carpet and stairs or split-level layouts
  • Effectiveness and durability of the anti-tangle roller over long-term pet-hair use
  • Security and privacy properties of the camera system beyond the limited discussion supplied

Reviews analysed

Tech Advisorconfirmed hands-on · moderate trust

Contains setup, mapping, threshold, timed area-cleaning, flour, noise and mopping observations, demonstrating direct use. The test duration and controlled methodology are less fully documented than in the other two sources.

TechRadarconfirmed hands-on · high trust

Used the product as the sole vacuum and mop for two weeks, then ran mode-specific flour, crumb, oat and dried-stain tests with noise measurements. It reports both successes and repeatable limitations and compares related robots.

Expert Reviewsconfirmed hands-on · high trust

Uses measured quantities and reports pickup percentages across hard floor and carpet, standardized dried-stain and obstacle tests, practical navigation observations and consumable details. The specificity exposes important weaknesses missed by broader reviews.

This is a judgement-led synthesis, separate from the specification score and category rank. It has not received a second-person review. The product report does not publish a cross-product numeric review score because the retained reviews do not use comparable test methods.

Source notes and limitations

Evidence limitations

  • Published specifications are not Agent Review Data laboratory measurements.
  • The manufacturer-direct source offer and availability can change after the checked time.
  • Exact model identity is keyed to the model/SKU in the source register; related colours and bundles are not merged.

Recommendation caveats

  • The score compares published specifications and a checked offer; it is not a controlled performance test.
  • Scores are comparable only within this category.
  • Published specification inputs can use different test conditions; the retained values are not treated as laboratory-equivalent.
  • Separate third-party sources are shown as contextual evidence, not as a universal consensus.
